Yes, we say it – Merry Christmas! As we celebrate the season of giving and joy, and even as the news delivers another dose of wretched news (RIP little children and brave adults of SHEC!), we know that love and forgiveness is what carry us through this tough world. Christ provides strength to carry us through, and is what encourages us to give and conduct ourselves with integrity, and compassion. That killer lacked both of those things entirely; and we harm our society when we fail to recognize the importance of those values.
